How do the films get to the cinema?
Data logistics tailored to your needs
The safest and most flexible way to get your films to the cinema is to directly connect our TMS and cinema management system to the venues via fibreglass. This way, smaller films or changes can still be transmitted on the same day if necessary. KDMs are also automatically transmitted.
The delivery of the DCPs to the cinemas is individually tailored to the conditions of the venues. For this purpose, we have a large inventory of different data carrier systems to choose from and can thus always find the best possibility and provide them on loan for the duration of the festival.
Through the BIG Studio distribution process, only the relevant feature and short films, advertisements, trailers, plates and transitions end up in the venues.

Projectionists with Festival Experience
Many cinemas sadly do not have the personnel or the technical know-how to manage the demanding film festival operations, especially when regular screenings or other events continue in parallel. There is often a lack of staff and technical equipment for event organization, Q&As, and other festival-specific events.
That's why we have a nationwide pool of competent projectionists and cinema technicians that we'd be happy to provide for you.
Transport, Delivery, Done!
Our on-site team personally takes care of the delivery, installation, or setup if necessary.
Since we deliver all our distribution data carriers in sturdy, waterproof ABS cases, shipping via courier, etc. is also possible.
For last-minute delivery and transmission, super fast storage media are available with read and write speeds of 1000 MB/s.
Integration of NAS Storage
By implementing the latest solution, integrating NAS storage into the venue network, it’s easier for the cinema to switch between regular and festival content. If the NAS is added as additional storage, it eliminates the entire ingest workload for the cinema.
